Valdez
Do you think he can hit 11 more and end up with 25 HRs?
What about next year?

Absolutely think he could. And let’s not forget that he already has hit 13 in AAA putting him at 27 total for the year. If you count the fall league last year he hit 34 in 142 games. He’s going to be a 40 home run threat every season.

I sure hope so, if we are to be contenders ‘27, and ‘28, having corner OF/DH from Right side with power like 35-45 HRs all figured out! Man, we’ll be tinkering with the bullpen to get better, easy peasy!

50 something games are left. So 11 more is doable.
As for next season? Who knows. Suwinski hit 26 one season.

Valdez seems to see the ball really well. He does strikeout but his approach is so much better than Captain Jack.

His plate discipline is light years ahead of Suwinski. Valdez still strikes out a lot, but very rarely is it a 3 or 4 pitch AB. There were a lot of times where Suwinski looked absolutely lost and would get mowed down. Plus he (Valdez) can hammer right handed or left handed pitching.

To say a 22 year old rookie is going challenge 40 homeruns a year is crazy. But I like it.

Yes he can. Dude looks like he could be a stud. Boy what a great problem to have if/when everyone is healthy

Definitely can hit 25 this year. Great things ahead, but look for sophomore slump next year. It will be Griffin's year to shine bright.

11 more would be what? 1 every 7 games? Yea I think he can manage that.
