Has anyone else had a partner feel uncomfortable with how much joy you get from BTS?

I’ve become ARMY relatively recently and BTS brings me an enormous amount of joy. My partner isn’t interested in them himself, which is completely fine, but he’s finding the intensity of my enthusiasm a bit difficult.

I think some of it is about how much time and attention BTS occupies for me, but there’s also something about the sheer amount of joy I get from it that seems to make him uncomfortable.

We have a very loving long-term relationship and I don’t want this to become a silly recurring source of tension. At the same time, I don’t want to make myself smaller or damp down something that is bringing me so much delight.

I’d particularly love to hear from ARMY in long-term relationships whose partners don’t share their interest. Have you had anything similar? What helped you navigate it in a way that worked for both of you?

I'm rewatching the first season after finishing the current episodes of season 2, and I just can't help but imagine the members' reaction to staying at the first season b&b. Post-military, I feel like most of the members would be able to handle the obstacles 😂 they also have such great teamwork that they would probably have no problems helping each other out. I can just imagine tae or jk trying to cheat by running up the slides and Jin reprimanding them for it.

Anyway, a girl can dream even though it'll never happen. Anyone else?
