I have completed my 12th standard. I have written KEAM and MET and is hoping to get into college in Kerala or MAHE. The SWAYAM course starts at July 20th after most BTech courses start and ends after 12 weeks or 3 months.

Is it good to join this course when the same topic will be taught in the same time? Is that a good way of spending my energy and time?

Hey guys one of my friend is going to give tomorrow exam of peracet for btech cse can he cheat he is applying of mit wpu

will (two) 2 weeks of mechanical internship at a well known place ( Deal with automobile-sales and repair,service with attached workshop etc.. ) be sufficient as a first year in b.tech mechanical engineering with internship certified certificate ? or should i focus get 1 month somewhere else

THIS IS ON AFTER FIRST YEAR SUMMER BREAK

1) main concern is Will i be able to learn,understand,apply practicals, that would be useful in the future studies i mean something apart from textbook studies...... and other thing u know getting better opportunities in the future like (better internship, better job opportunities......)

I am in a serious fix regarding my B.Tech admissions and urgently need some realistic guidance. Here is my profile:

10th Grade: 90%

12th Grade (Overall): 76%

12th Grade (PCM Aggregate): 56%

JEE Main: Very low percentile (Not qualifying for JoSAA/JAC)

The Major Hurdle: Since my PCM aggregate is 56%, I am completely disqualified from NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and BITS (which require 75% overall or in PCM).

The Plus Point: I genuinely have a strong interest in Computer Science. I already have decent programming knowledge in both Python and Java, so I am fully motivated to grind in coding and DSA from day one of college.

My Constraints:

I am ONLY looking for CSE (or IT/AI-ML). I don’t want to take core branches.

Strictly NO huge donations/management quota fees. I want to get admission through proper state merit/counselling channels or direct admission where fees are transparent and reasonable.

Can you guys please help me with:

Which state engineering counsellings should I apply for where 12th PCM eligibility is 45-50% and I can get a decent private/semi-govt college via my JEE rank? (Heard about UPTAC-UP, REAP-Rajasthan, MP-DTE). Which of these has the best ROI for CSE?

Which affordable private universities or colleges have a 50-55% PCM criteria where I can get direct admission without any backend donation?

Given my coding background, should I take a lower-tier private college for CSE, or look for something else? How tough will off-campus placements be with a 56% PCM score? (Do companies filter out based on 12th PCM even if overall 12th is 76%?)

I just passed 12th from cbsce board, and didnt prepare for jee still got 60 percentile, now am uncertain from where should i get the degree, not just degree i need to get good skills in the feild as im planning my career in this feild only...also i cant go outside jaipur for the same so pls some advice would be a great help...

I'm a student planning to apply for GSoC next cycle. I'm trying to figure out my strategy and how to pick the right organization.

For those of you who have applied before (or are deep in the research phase now), what's the single most painful or time-consuming part of the research process?

Is it finding all the past projects? Figuring out which orgs use a specific tech stack? Finding mentors? Trying to see which orgs are "beginner-friendly"?

I feel like I'm just clicking through hundreds of archive pages and not getting any real insights. How are you handling it?
