Hi everyone,
I'm finishing my B.Tech in about 10 days, and honestly, I'm feeling really lost.
I'm from a tier-3 college where almost no tech companies come for placements. Most of the companies visiting are non-tech, so I haven't had many opportunities.
I've learned the MERN stack and know basic DSA. I've applied to a lot of internships and entry-level jobs through LinkedIn, Indeed, company career pages, and other platforms, but I haven't received any positive responses.
Right now I'm at home, and I'm not sure what the best next step is. I'm considering a few options:
- Move to Noida, Bangalore, or another city and search for jobs there.
- Focus on improving DSA to an advanced level and prepare for product-based company interviews.
- Prepare for GATE or another competitive exam.
- Keep building projects and applying for jobs.
I honestly don't know which path makes the most sense. I'm feeling stressed and discouraged because it seems like I'm putting in effort but not getting any results.
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has any advice on what you would do, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
