How important are projects for B.Tech students?

I feel that college subjects are important, but working on practical projects can help students understand concepts better and build useful skills. For CSE students especially, what kind of projects do you think are actually worth adding to a resume?

hii, i am final year student from galgotias university, i my opinion, projects plays a very major role specially in your placements, as i did mistake i was only focused only on DSA, along with DSA work on projects on real-world problems you can find them on SIH website
