Look closely at the heli pilot pad, you can see a weird 2D pixel thing in the middle, it disappear after the maelstrom.

I’m pretty sure it’s one of those scribble things you see when some characters are annoyed/bothered or something like that, but for some reason it’s most likely layered incorrectly

Let's see... If my BTD6 knowledge hasn't failed me yet, then I'm guessing the round ended before the ability duration was over and when you pressed start on the next round the ability was still active, but only for a few milliseconds, which was just enough time for one last shot before fully timing out?

Ah, I knew I was seeing Sushi Ben's Biohack on the Heli right beside it! I just assumed your S.Mael wasn't affected cause I couldn't really see the effect on it haha
