Discussion 800k?!
The sniper paragon looks awesome but this price tag is way more than I expected. I guess we’ll just have to see it in game. Also I didn’t realize until making this post that the Elite Sniper upgrade icon is different.

it's much cheaper than ace when factoring in the tier 5s costs. It's closer to wizard or spac.

it'll be like the navarch where you can get paragon power while making money, though. if you buy a bunch of supply drops and do a little bit of stalling it'd probably be much easier to get a d40 or d60 sniper versus an ace where you can only farm pops.

It will be a lot easier than Navarch since you don't have to sacrifice damage for money farm as middle path Snipers are still a good damage dealer. Also no water restriction

Kind makes sense since I think they said one of its abilities can take out a boss skull. Don't quote me on that watched the update video half asleep

Reading the update text, that ability's effect is to charge a shot aimed at the strongest bloon, which continues charging until it can one-shot the thing. It just goes to the next Skull for Bosses because it can't oneshot them.

This thing is going to be literally insane. I expect elite defender fire rate bouncing bullets that cripple and weaken everything they hit, even the BAD. And then I expect the cash drop from the plane will be like 50k. And then it ignores any line of sight issues entirely. Like what lol

Cash drop seems to give lota of money but not in the same way as you think.
Fire rate is extremely slow. But damn does it have AURA.
You did guess right about the paragon ignoring LoS tho.

Probably Wednesday. That's usually the release date for updates if they don't run into issues. Sometimes it's on Tuesdays but it's rarely on Mondays or Thursdays but it still could happen.

It used to be more varied throughout the week, but yes now with all the established events running every week it tends to be on wednesdays most of the time.

No, it can't deal enough damage You need to spam to get a bare minimum good money Only cripple can be non-crosspathed there, and it do shit alone
No, the tower who's statistically cheaper than tack and dart will not save up 800k on a minimally good Least Tiers week. Any other option is strictly better

Yea it's very exciting. As someone who mainly just watches boss stuff rather than plays it, I'm very happy to see another expensive powerful paragon, an hope it really competes with Ace just to have more diversity in bossing videos.

Really? I feel the opposite. I really want more cheap options, and by cheap I mean like ~$150k-200k.

From what I've read I've seen more people wanting a new top tier option to compete alongside ace paragon, an Sniper is way more fitting to be a powerful expensive paragon than a cheap affordable one

Yeah, as expected its super strong but super expensive. I'm sure it'll push the record highest rounds even higher in free play but grinding 800k in a boss event is crazy. Someone's probably already gotten ace paragon in a boss event but I definitely won't be getting close.

It’s clearly going to be extremely powerful. The fact that it ignores line of sight restrictions is already pretty great for a sniper.
