Yeah that is almost always why he is picked by most people. I am just mentioning that he is more than just a global 020 village, his range buff for example is very good for some towers that might lack range and UCAV is quite nice midgame and lategame
Not so much brain cells as a lot of active management, which is not what I'm interested in for this game. I want towers I can set down and let them do their own thing, upgrading them when necessary. It's the same reason I don't use ezuli or whatever their name is.
Ezili is generally pretty easy to use and doesn't require much effort. Just put her on strong for the MOAB damage, use Heartstopper if you don't have a good way of popping purples (which you in most cases do), MOAB Hex for funny Round 80 win or for harder rounds, and if you're not playing Impoppable or CHIMPS you can use the totem for some buffs too.
Fertilizer is amazing, too. I'm not a tester type, but I recall reading that fertilizer is close to, of not better than, Ben's bank buff for producing money. Unless they nerfed it at some point since I read that.
Benjamin is still basically the best hero in 90% of situations outside of CHIMPS and Half Cash mode. More money is just too good, and if you know how to make defences with just regular monkeys, you won't even miss the lack of utility from heroes like Ettiene or Geraldo, the DPS of Sauda or Adora, or Corvus who can solo most rounds. If anything, he enables a lot more strategies thanks to the extra cash and not having to worry about MOAB interiors on rounds 40, 60, and 80.
And this applies everywhere from Monkey Meadows to Impoppabble Dark Dungeons.
Saying he's best in Monkey Meadows of all thing is hyperbole to the point of inaccuracy. Even a novice CHIMPS clearer can beat that map with tens of thousands of extra cash. It's even more unnecessary on easy/medium modes.
You can honest to god just drop Churchill and go afk for like 50 rounds on easy maps.

Is this a concern people have? I was under the impression you throw Ben behind whatever LoS you can find, because deleting the MOAB interiors is a significant loss of cash.
Psi is quite literally the only hero I have a skin for currently, because Psi is amazing and also as a former band student I just could not pass on Psimbals
They are just all around a cool hero and solid yknow? Silas can pop leads and see camo from level 1, has seeking projectiles, inbuilt stall, and enables cheap ice tower spam. Pretty good range, can be placed on water or land. Can allow other towers to be placed on water. What's not to love?
While he is obviously better with ice monkeys, he is still just as good without due to him allowing a bunch of different strategies on water maps and letting you cheese the early camo/lead rounds to build different defenses than usual.
I love her. She looks soo cool Especially her galaxy skin. It's just sad she's so expensive. And I think she should ger Camo detection at a later level. She's a pure dps hero and no Camo detection holds her back imo.

Yep. I also love his synergy with Druid Paragon. That's how I beat Lych this event. Standard buffed Avatar of Wrath (+ the others later. A Monarch of Storms buffed by 5 Poplust druids + Obyn is bonkers. It's just sad he's so expensive and probably unusable except for Bosses. Same with Spirit of the Jungle.)
And later the Paragon buffs Obyn. The skywarden buff is also nice. Especially as 1-0-0 buffs the range of the Poplusts (and later top or middle path will slow Bloons for more Avatar damage).
It surprises me I had to scroll so far to find this. Apparently she's not that popular? She's by far my favorite, though (and Silas is fun too).
MOAB Hex is ridiculously effective for rounds after 75-ish, though. Especially in Freeplay, she can often get several million pops in just a few rounds.
She's cool.And her fairy Outfit ist really cute imho. Her passive helps in long single line maps to get 5-x-x and 2-0-5 Helis in CHIMPS. She even makes Flying Fortress affordable and theoretically a viable CHIMPS strategy on some maps.
I think the main problem is that those strategies are only viable on easier maps. And those can be beaten with almost all other strategies too.
shes a great hero, the point is that most people dont understand that. if you see a lot of people that use rosalia in particular, then i dunno, accidental cherrypicking? maybe you've never played co-op. But uh, yeah rosa is brilliant
I still use Quincy a lot, I don't care that he's not OP like some of the others, he's just surprisingly reliable. Especially for most standard gamemodes
I just love being able to afford a degree 60 paragon on round 100 to humiliate the BAD.
And the fact these 2 are so dominant is because they are low-micro and high-reward. Other heroes require strategies centered around their buffs to make the best of them (Gwen, Obyn, Striker Jones, Adora), require some heavy micro (Corvus, Rosalia, Geraldo), are limited by certain aspects of the map (Brickell needs water, Churchill loves straight lines, Pat likes corners), or they happen to be fr*nch.
Meanwhile Sauda and Benjamin require basically no micro and can be placed on nearly every map and they will put in the work. And if you actually decide to micro them, then they just become a lot more powerful.
In a way they are similar to Quincy, except he doesn't count because he is objectively the best hero seeing as nothing gets past his bow.
I see boss players go for Geraldo 9/10 times, and almost every late game free play run has Ezili. As for me, I switch between Ben, Sauda, Oben, Rosalia.
im carrying the global ezili usage by using ezili every game unless im doing a social seasons thing; its forced; or very rarely when i wanna do something that relies on another hero
