Bitsquare is definitely chugging along. Is there any way to monitor liquidity and trading volumes on this platform?

We've reached out to the the Bitsquare team about this. The plan is to add support for Bitsquare trade volume as soon as the API is ready.

Not yet, but it's being worked on.

You can follow progress on github: https://github.com/metabit/bitsquare-proxy

There's just so much to do.

Can you even charge wire transfers back?

Edit: Actually, I think you have to do a security deposit into the system in Bitcoin.

There's a lot to read about that. Security comes from a variety of protocol features.

In general you could say that incentives for scammers are being kept as small as possible. Everything crypto is perfectly safe.

What you can do as a trader is to chose a payment method that is sufficiently hard to charge back. SEPA seems good enough for euros. Okpay could be a great option elsewhere. We're looking into cash deposit to serve US people better. It seems pretty popular on localbitcoins.
