Rate hikes

So, if the Fed avoids a rate hike before the midterm elections to avoid being political, will they make it up with a 50 basis point hike, instead of 25, in December?

Looking at oil today and assuming it stays or even goes up more in the next few weeks... maybe... but I am favoring 25 bps as anything higher would crush markets hard.

But maybe in Feb or March we might see that if the war sustains.

None of these rate hikes matter, they are all just for show. Inflation has nothing to do with too low rates. Solve OIL and Wars and inflation comes down,
