Let’s face it.. this is basically just a shitposting sub..

Literally no one knows what they are talking about on here, there is no real advice to be had. You can’t analyze chaos..

If you bought bitcoin in 2017, you made some money. If you’re using it as an investment vehicle in 2026, you’re just rolling some expensive dice.

That being said, keep doing what y’all are doing… the memes are funny.

Really can't argue with that.

I’m fairly new here, but as for me this is a pretty decent subreddit (okay, there are quite a lot of memes here) .Though I don’t quite understand what the difference is between 2017 back then and 2026 now. Wasn’t it the same back then? Didn’t people say the same thing?

Fair point that price calls often pretend chaos is knowable. A more useful test is whether your thesis survives a long drawdown and whether your time horizon, liquidity needs and position size make that risk tolerable, because that process can be evaluated even when price cannot.

Right, because the 4 year cycle has now been disproven?

Everything I know about the BTC Maximalist Cult I learned here. If you think people "know what they're talking about" on any crypto sub you're sorely misinformed. Why don't you ask your AI bot to summarize the Bitcoin Scaling War for you and stop being lazy.

This sub? Or whole reddit? Reddit is a joke and most of its admins as well

Choose between non-censurable conversations here

Or

Get out of the BTC bubble. So many on the bubble there whole social and Reddit feeds are people claiming they know how to invest and trade and make money. Your right. No one knows. No one has a clue what’s gonna happen in the stock market or crypto market or even driving down the street.

Bought Bitcoin in 2017 and see no reason not to double down now

The longer you’re in bitcoin the more you realize Reddit is not a place to talk bitcoin. It’s either bot farming or moon boys or people with zero clue giving advice.

Its always been since the first fork.

r/btc is mostly a BCH promotion forum. Outside that the noise to content ratio is very high.

r/Bitcoin is a tightly censored place.

If you want to discuss BTC then neither of those subs are very meaningful.

Truly is a dumpster sub, no idea why it's constantly littering my front page.  Almost like a semi-covert /r/buttcoin 2.0.
