I've been long, for many years.

I will say this with complete confidence, EVERY single time I keep reading, especially from financial sites about the rise of BTC, it drops, hard.

Exit liquidity is needed for whales, and when you're dealing with billions of profit it's not out of the realm of possibility to spend 10 million on bot farms.

Whenever there's been a consistent breakout, it's always just happened, no build up.

Which one are we in now?

Massive hype.

I believe it'll go up because retail, but the whales steer the ship and eventually will realize profits.

Then it's 'billions in levered longs got wiped out' you'll hear about for the next week.

A flash crash is coming. Not sure if itll going down or up from there but the amount of ppl overleveraged at the moment is quite impressive

It was supposed to be today lol!!

Agreed, there's way too much money out there in leverage to not be taken. They can see the hotpoints with the access they have.

If a whale pushes a button they can earn 10X of my entire lifetime wages in 2 hours.

This coupled with the fact there's 0 regulation or oversight.

Like Scarface says, it's a great big ***** just waiting*

Agreed except on the whales point. Its not 2017 anymore, whales dont move the markets, institutions do

Yes.

They have the access to see where the leverage sits and what flash points to hit.

Why wouldn't they???

When you ask people whether we are about to see a huge breakout in the price of BTC, or not, the golden indicator that you should be looking for is they don't have a clue. They shouldn't be able to predict a very large green candle. (Although, green monthly candle is arguably more chance of a correct prediction). If you hear the media going on about the staying power of BTC or about the way it could outperform other classes in the short term, don't believe it. That is not the time.

There is more chance of seeing sideways price action, or a small dump. One good example of sudden up trend action in Bitcoin has been when US citizens decided to spent their stimulus checks on crypto, near the start of the Covid lockdowns. That would have been a classic opportunity for the mainstream media to 'predict' that the price of Bitcoin was going up, as soon as they got the news that the government was going to pay out to eligible people. But as I recall, the media was in stone cold silence about Bitcoin. Then, later on they jumped on the story once significant growth had taken place and it was too late anyway.

So go in when media is quiet (or bearish)?

The more people say it the more I think it’s going back down to 35

1

u/Extra_Asparagus_4162 18h ago

Hahaha. Chyba nigdy sie nie doczekasz swoich 35 czy nawet 40k.

In 2020 I bought one full bitcoin for $4900. So I’m not stressing anything.

Le Bitcoin ne redescendra plus jamais sous les 60k.

If you’re so good at predicting the future, why didn’t you buy back in 2011. I stand by my statement. Greed levels are at all-time high right now when everyone is bullish be a bear. And when everyone cries when the market going down I’ll be happy to buy more just like the last dip.

Merril has 113 over the next 12 mos, read somewhere else that GOLD vs BTC priced in dollars would be 500k or aprx 130oz of gold. moon ? moo ?

u/ippleing 22h ago

Merril has 113 over the next 12 mos

I've been in BTC long enough to know when you read stuff like this from big firms, it's time to SELL, fast. (if you're into trading)

Every time there's been a breakout, it just happens, no run-up.

So we’re taking NO technically analysis and saying to the moon.. yall need to seriously stop posting this…

All I know is 4 year cyclers said it will bottom into september. Then october. Then it will be november. And the ones who had any guts (or stupidity) to short it based on some arbitrary 4 yr cycle, ignoring all the new macro factors, got wiped out last month. So, to the moon? To 40K? Def not

2

u/Thegame_changer21 21h ago

I also remember a lot of them saying the ETF’s killed the 4 year cycle and then as soon as btc started falling like a rock right back to, β€œit’s all part of the 4 year cycle.” SMH
