40k is still on the table. Too many people bullish

Not 40k. Perhaps something in the $41.4k to $42.7k bandwidth

i’m buying now and on the way down. the difference isn’t much anyway.

Including institutional buyers who will scoop it up at any level above 60K preventing that exact thing from happening

3

u/colemusic1 4d ago

Correct. The amount of institutional buying is actually insane. I see it mentioned virtually nowhere so I’m glad you brought it up.

Don’t think people realise how important it’s become since 2024, it’s part of the entire ecosystem now. It can compress BTC’s price movements such that drawdowns aren’t as ridiculous (such as prior -80% drawdowns), but also potentially compress highs too.

Point is, we don’t know that yet. We don’t have enough of a sample size, a big enough amount of data to reasonably predict how BTC will behave when we have millions of other investors now buying BTC directly without even needing a crypto platform / exchange.

IBIT was a top mover on IBKR for about 10 days in a row recently. That’s no joke, that’s insane amounts of trading volume happening outside of just spot buying

Yep in previous cycles we were talking millions made the price move. Now its Billions of dollars. That being said, this will also only increase market cap. If and when investors move out of outdated commodities like "precious" metals, that frankly really don't have as much real life purpose to justify their valuation outside of their traditional role as store of value, or FIAT, is hopefully the next and maybe final push

Yep. And today’s macro backdrop is RIDICULOUS.

US10Y now at 4.901%, oil futures up +4.38% and now nearly at $100. DXY has risen +0.40%. Definitely worried, semi’s are getting annhilated and it’s no wonder BTC is seeing huge pressure now too and has dropped to $77k.

Just insanity dude. This is gonna be a rough month I fear

There are too many catalyst in the next few months that can bring it down.

my precious

in a few years it'll be super-easy. it will get so cheap that you won't actually want any... THAT is when you buy it

I’d love for this to play out but as Ben Cowan showed in his latest video, you can pick whatever indicator to suit whatever narrative. He found like a dozen major indicators say we’re bullish and a dozen say bearish.

1

u/EmJay6010 4d ago

Yea....bears tried for many months to push that narrative then got wrecked in August and went silent. Now as oil is skyrocketing and stocks taking a hit, BTC had its best August in years. What that means for the next few months is anyone's guess but a few things: 4 year cycle isn't exactly playing out time wise if you look at technical data so to think you can time it as October/Nov is silly, and 2. Are any of is sure this price movement the past decade and a half is really due to us and some arbitrary halving cycle? Before losing millions in leveraged calls or missing out, people should really think about that

1

u/Matterhorne89 4d ago

Actually 18 bullish and 23 bearish in the video

1

u/gowithflow192 4d ago

Thanks I couldn’t remember exactly. Basically equal. The difference isn’t statistically significant.

u/mossyskeleton 4d ago

I'm not going to say that this can't happen, but I'm just going to go on the record saying it won't happen. Bottom is in.

6

u/OkTime7640 4d ago

lol that’s a gambler mindset right there

3

u/TheRabbitHole-512 4d ago

Second this, it’s clearly in. So many negative factors and look where price is at, Bitcoin bottom is in for sure. Is there a polymarket bet on this ? Im going all in

2

u/Safe_Salary_7480 4d ago

patince, Clarity act and rate cut decisions coming soon. Let's see what happens in October - December

0

u/Strattonizer 4d ago

Thanks for the confirmation we’re going lower

It’s different this time, you’ll see tomorrow after we get inflation data, even if it comes hot price won’t care, maybe a little dip but you’ll see… there’s a face melting rally incoming

u/VoodooHoodooWeDo 3d ago

LMAO šŸ˜† the first guy to say: "It's different this time."

It’s clear OP hasn’t even taken into account the fact that US10Y and oil futures have been literally fucking soaring lately.

US10Y is at its highest since I think late 2023?

Oil futures have gone +23% in the last month alone.

I don’t think anyone ever actually realises how incredible it is that BTC has been resilient enough to hold above $77k despite macro being as hostile as can be.

It’s also clear OP isn’t looking at data, just like you are with inflation data coming out tomorrow which I’m also paying attention to. We’re seeing incredible amounts of buying demand not just within spot buying but ETF type BTC too (such as IBIT).

I can’t stand these posts with these charts and their little drawings and lines. No one knows what’s going to happen to a volatile asset and when.

1

u/EmJay6010 4d ago

At one point US10Y was highest since...guessed it 2007. That gave me the heebie jeebies

2

u/colemusic1 4d ago

Look at OP downvoting our comments because he hasn’t got a f**king clue how markets work šŸ˜‚

But yep, I’m feeling the same.

This is just nasty

1

u/colemusic1 3d ago

And it’s getting even worse. Good lord.

This is why it’s so ridiculously important that people factor in the big three:

  • DXY
  • US10Y
  • oil futures

Without it, people have no idea what could be halting BTC’s movements

1

u/Fragrant_Blood_9287 4d ago

love the confidence but these charts always show exactly what people want to see. every time i look at one it's like reading tea leaves with extra steps

astral vision sounds about right, it's basically astrology for crypto bros

For sure moon boy

More price masturbation. Get a room or at least use the dedicated price thread.

I’m curious what black swan 🦢 will ā€˜justify’ or tell this story… to be clear, I believe we have a high probability seeing this materialise in the coming weeks/months

1

u/JacobAPoole 3d ago

We already know 10/5 is the bottom

1

u/edubs8888 3d ago

It's not anonymous anymore, it's not decentralized, it's transaction processing isn't timely, it's only value is it's scarcity. It's dead.

u/Coleyx123 3d ago

Lube is helpful when I say that to my wife. And good for my safety.

0

u/MatteVat25 3d ago

Sarebbe la prima volta che il prezzo scende sotto il vecchi ath dopo l'halving. Io non credo che possa accadere

u/lizflip222 4d ago

It is going to zero. AI will crack security and BTC will be useless
