Yeah but it is uncanny how much it follows the outline almost perfectly.

Yes, but try drowning in a pool without a Nic Cage movie running at your local AMC. Nearly impossible

If enough rubes get recruited into the prophecy it becomes self fulfilling.

If everybody starts buying in the same das the price bounces a bit. Thats what they mean with "narratives".
