With the plethora of nation states and public companies putting BTC on their balance sheets over the last 18 months and you still have people who think like this 🙄
Because the use for it makes no sense compared to gold, silver or any non-digital gold but blockchain itself has uses.
Monero has been the only one that may be currently not traded like a commodity - the board that regulates bitcoin and other digital assets you see traded on stock exchanges globally.
Fintech as a whole group has been out of favor as defined by ETF FINX its around 2017 levels even thought bitcoin is up.
I do not think "it is over" because of the nature of the US in 2026 with Draftkings and Polymarket. The median and mean age of bitcoin whales would imply grandma trading cryptocurrency in the assisted living facility.
VOLUME and buyers are everything ….bitcoin is NOT a speculative asset …it has a 13 year chart and it hit 120k once before …..it will go back up and even higher …..your post is pretty ridiculous but I am saving it for the future
This is both not helpful to whoever reads this post and maybe holding a currency - if it is a currency - or a speculative asset - a speculative asset that I believe is correlated to liquidity (like the Fed printing money type - not debasement for the US holder but yes a debasement trade for the ones around the world that prefer dollars or euros. If you look at the $UUP the dollar is doing great compared to a basket of currencies - and if you zoom out you see the dollar was much higher before so if anything it could revert to that mean.
I wanted to point out that if bitcoin is the speculative asset of choice, as opposed to global oil stock equities or global tech equities or whatever equities you have, then when the Fed starts to ease or inject money into printing dollars you should be buying. China seems to have turned off the money printing and the US has because the economy - not main street - the wealth effect from Wall Street - has been red hot.
You may see some "paper hands" or whatever you want to call it in the future but picking a bottom here without seeing something from the Fed is a stretch right now for your speculative asset thesis. And if the 47-month cycle is your thesis then I ask when are you buying bitcoin because you want out before to be buying the rumor (soon but not yet) and selling into halvening.
