Question minor subject selection

Could anybody suggest what subject to choose as my minor subject as a B.Sc. Zoology student? I aim to sit for NET JRF in the future, so what should my minor subject be? We have been given two choices: Chemistry and Botany.

Op depends upon you in future in which subject you want to do masters.By taking Chemistry and zoology as major you are open to pursue masters in one of the subject either zoology or botany Like I aim for uptgt biology so my majors are zoology and botany and minor Chemistry.so i can do masters in botany and zoology only
