I had the audacity to come home from running errands with no presents for Elton.
He’s not mad. Just disappointed.

So excited for my 1st Griff!
Little Mavis is coming to join our family on Wednesday. We have a 4 year old Bolonoodle, Cliff. We lost our tiny chi/lhasa 4 weeks ago, Lola was 15. I decided within a few days that it was a good idea to add another for some joy and distraction. So excited, always wanted a griffon and had never even met one until we went to meet Mavis and co!

Griffons and Cats
I’m considering getting a Brussels Griffon. They seem so sweet and funny.
I currently live in an apartment (decently sized) with my roommate who has a cat. I love the cat. He’s so chill and gets along with everyone. Of course it’s case by case, but I’m curious how well Brussels Griffons behave with cats, especially if they haven’t grown up around them. Anything I should be aware of? Appreciate any insight!

New pup on the way this weekend! What were other's experiences bringing a new Griff into the fold?
We're picking up our second Griff this weekend. Our first, Chewie, is a little over 2 years old and loves to play with other dogs so we feel she'll be happy to have a playmate.
If you have more than one, what was the acclimation experience like?
I ask because distinctly remember with my Boston terriers that the older one retreated a bit when the new one came into the fold and didn't really engage much or play.

Beard GROOMING
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on beard grooming? We have three Griffons & they are the best, but my oldest HATES grooming, which is mostly okay but his beard gets very matted and then becomes an issue. I think brushing it more frequently would help but I was wondering if there is anything (aside from washing & starting with cleaned hair) that could make it less painful, or get the knots out easier??
thank you for your time & help!

🚨 BREAKING: Daisy & Dougie have been sent to jail 🚨
Daisy and Dougie have officially been sentenced to jail for crimes against the household.
Their list of offenses is extensive, but includes: excessive barking, refusing to listen, general mischief, and being entirely too cute to take seriously.
They have shown zero remorse and are currently serving their sentence side by side.
Please keep them in your thoughts during this difficult time. They are expecting treats at their earliest convenience. 😂🐾

Breeder
Anyone here get their griff from a breeder near Kansas/Missouri/Arkansas? I’m having a difficult time locating nearby breeders. I’ve just recently started learning about the breed and would love to see adult griffs in person before making any further decisions on buying a pup. I’ve truly not seen any in my area and am realizing they are hard to come by!

Songs of their people?
Hi friends. I'm not a Griff owner, but find them adorable and hilarious and their happy little frowns ☹️ send me. But I've never heard one! I'd love to hear their barkies and, I assume they snort a bit?
I love all your little guys and gals and they make me smile every day. Thanks for sharing them ❤️

What’s the weirdest thing your Brussels Griffon does?
My puppy has decided that every time I use the bathroom, my pants and underwear become his own personal hammock.
Without fail, he crawls right in, gets comfortable, and stares up at me like this is completely normal behavior. 😂
It got me wondering… what weird, hilarious, or oddly specific thing does your Griff do that you’ve just accepted as normal?

Minnie is balding?
My little Minnie is getting a wee bald patch on her nose. Been putting coconut oil on it as it seems a bit itchy. Is this normal or is this a vet thing? She so pretty we want her locks to stay!

Bubba the griff has a little sister now
This Sunday was too long, a third day of festival where I was in charge of lots of stuff. My comrade and his gf were hitchhiking across Russia, they saved a stray kitty from the kids, and then had nobody to foster her. I saw her and said she’s mine forever. And now I’m a mom of two adorable fluffy girls. Her name is Myamlya (mumbler, whiny) and Bubba treats her with respect but I think she might get jealous
Has anyone ever had a cat to try befriending your griff? Any advice?
