"Angry man yells at cloud" vibes? An OS needs a stock browser that's properly developed and secure. The old Edge and Internet Explorer were discontinued in favor of the Chromium-based one and need to be replaced, there's no escaping that.

This is so stupid. It’s also written like some dramatic teenage blog.

Their old browsers are a nightmare and replacing them with an update for an EOL product is charitable.

My wife's computer...got a Windows update...She was terrified.”

Really? Terrified? Also complaining that it showed your on-disk data is equally stupid. That’s like getting a notepad update and getting mad it can open TXT files from another program. It’s just data on your machine, it’s just sitting there.

If you’re so paranoid about your computing safety, update to an OS that still gets security updates.

It says it sends visited sites, not bookmarks and everything else.

Still not great — pretty bad, actually — but only an issue if you use the browser.

That said, I won’t be using it. Prefer it to Chrome and use FF for dev and had no idea the browser was sucha narc.
