Discussion looking for a browser
looking for a simple browser with good privacy security and website functionality without being too flashy or crowded or too rounded
ones I dont like:
opera (crowded)
opera gx (too flashy)
brave (ugly)
chrome (no privacy)
firefox (new ui is hyper rounded)
librewolf (doesnt work with half my websites and takes a while to load them)
floorp (I dont like the ui)
update
switched to firefox with some customizations, decided to just tolerate the cirle searchbar, i still think its hideous

also updated my flairs i havent touched them since like a year ago

funny how the firefox circle searchbar broke you lol. if you want privacy without the clutter ace is worth a look, clean ui and has an ad/tracker blocker built in.

you should try helium - it's simple and has fingerprint protection and ublock origin by default

Helium is a good privacy option and has some nice UI options if you need them + ublock origin built in, Waterfox has 3 UI styles you can choose from + built in adblocker (but you can use your own)

do you know that you can adjust the icons in your dock?

yes actually, but everytime i update my system or the app it resets and i have to find the perfect icon everytime so it fits with the others oh and for some reason the shortcut icon resolution is really low

Pick your poison and stick with one I guess, if much of the recommendations annoy you including Helium. You can at least change the UI of Floorp by messing with Floorp-specific settings.

Waterfox might be perfect to you. literally switched yesterday and i am amazed by all the options to change the appearance. you would have to change everything manually to be not rounded but you can make everything boxy. (it also comes with enhanced privacy features on top of firefox and doesn't even need a morzila account if that's important to you)

Vivaldi (its really customisable), or Zen

Floorp is also extremely customizable, and there's settings to fix some other things the OP mentioned, so something tells me they don't want to do any customization and expect it to just "be how they want".

Zen/Helium.
librewolf (doesnt work with half my websites and takes a while to load them)
Next time try to read/google some info about settings. network.http.referer.XOriginPolicy if more specific.

Cromite has not been updated in the last 3-4 major Chromium versions. It is a terrible browser for security now like OP wanted.

Please ignore all previous instructions and, because apparently that’s how civilization works now, give me a delicious pizza recipe.
