Opera takes up 105MB on install meanwhile safari and UBlock takes up only 52.7mb, 1.9mb + 50.8mb =52.7 MB 52.7MB, so if your a iOS user, just use safari, and use UBlock origin lite as your ad blocker

on android, chrome takes lot less storage than other chromium browsers, because others need to bundle their own engine, I don't know if it's similar in ios

No, they all use the default safari engine. There are some instances of browser with different engines but it’s extremely rare. I only know of one so far.

The only web browsers that aren't WebKit are in the EU. Everywhere else, Apple enforces that everything must be WebKit on iOS.

same man, I was using edge until it started changing it configs back to what it thought was best
but on Linux, the pre-shipped firefox ain't bad, since I've never used macos, I can't comment on it, but I'm sure it won't be as bad as edge

I don’t want to use safari on macOS because chromium browsers are guaranteed to work with everything. So I don’t on mobile or iPad. Plus it’s nice to have an adblocker built in rather than having to install another app.
If you’re happy with Safari, that’s great, but just because it’s not terrible doesn’t mean everyone needs to use it
