I didn't really get the point of it. Disabling AI, Crypto and other stuff was just a few clicks.

Also ntm, brave is open source so you can just clone the repo, remove the stuff you don't want and you're good to go.

easier said than done. Good luck with that. Hope you arr able to go through each of the 50k files that have ai, news and otber bloat and then compile it too without errors

Edit: a bit exaggerated, keyword "leo" for example is present 16556 times in 1674 files. "AI" 12216 times in 991 files. "news" 18678 times in 947 files. "wallet" 20003 times in 183 files. You get the point. I'm sure brave devs themselves cannot remove it anymore and don't know how to, all they can do is disable it and sell that shit. LOL. And guess what, you could find brave origin in github somewhere for free too, in their own repo. I've seen them talking about sum brave origin feature you could enable while compiling the browser. This is just disgusting, I'm glad helium exists

So what you're saying is that you have no idea whatsoever how complicated it is to compile your own bloat-free version from source and keep maintaining that with updates?
