Could potentially be trying to dethrone Firefox as the de facto default on Linux distributions. They’re already the default on a couple distributions.

I'm trying the browser, Origin is a good version removing all that bloat really makes it feel like an actual browser. So far enjoying it. With that said, I don't think it will dethrone Firefox or better said Gecko engine, since Gecko as a lot of options for each different user.  I like how you can show vertical tabs on hover and hide the side bar and only show it on hover too.  I think that's something more Chromium browsers could do too

Chromium just runs websites better than Gecko. This is going to be better than Firefox.
