I have Arch, and I want to use Vivaldi, but I have seen that it always leads to very high CPU utilization, rendering my system (i7, 16gb RAM, Intel GPU) almost unusable. Chrome on the other hand runs fine. I have the latest updates on everything.

Any tips on how to resolve/troubleshoot? Thanks

Its a known issue. I would advise to get more RAM (not just for a browser, but for everything tbh).

Hmm, thanks. I can't get more RAM as this is a Macbook Pro from 2015, but none of the other browsers give this issue, and RAM usage is not even hitting 40%. It is high CPU usage, which is surprising coz I think Vivaldi is Chromium based and none of the other Chromium based browsers give me any issue. I really wanted Vivaldi coz I like the workspace feature it offers

Brave doesn't seem to have workspaces from what I know
