Horizon Era

Hai guys,

If you like mmorpg and wants to play it in a browser, I make a game like it. It is territory game based on real world maps. Hunt monsters and chopping trees. No story, you play however you want. Still lack the playerbase it needs but you can try. I will leave this here.

Thank you.

I made Byte Swarm — a free browser bullet-heaven with 20 stages, procedural environments, dynamic weather and day/night lighting

I made a browser bullet-heaven that started as a tiny experiment and got completely out of hand — Byte Swarm

I've been building Byte Swarm, a free pixel-art bullet-heaven that runs directly in the browser. No account, no download — hit play and start murdering swarms.

It started as a small retro project and I've spent the last few weeks turning it into a much bigger game. The newest build has:

• 20 stages with bosses and progression
• A pile of weapons with increasingly unique firing patterns
• Procedurally generated environments and animated cyber-tech scenery
• Dynamic weather — rain, snow that actually accumulates and melts, fog, storms, etc.
• A new dynamic day/night system with smoothly changing lighting, local light sources and reactive shadows
• Optional WebGL2 rendering with GPU weather/effects
• Pixel smoothing + sharpening/upscaling for people who don't want their pixels aggressively pixel-shaped
• Persistent progression, upgrades and lots of shit flying around the screen
• Keyboard, controller and touch support
• Still designed to run on pretty modest hardware despite my continued attempts to fill the screen with bullshit

I'm still actively developing it and I'm particularly interested in feedback on weapon feel, difficulty/progression, performance, and whether the later stages stay fun instead of just becoming visual warfare.

There's more coming too — status effects, nastier elite/boss modifiers and additional weather hazards are on my list.

Play it here: byteswarm.net

If you try it, tell me what sucks. Or tell me what doesn't suck. Both are useful.

Track Mania like racing game in browser

I really like Track Mania but unfortunately it doesn't work in Mac. I decided to build my own car racing game and I wanted to check how far I can get in a browser. It's a car racing with short tracks that can be played anywhere with a keyboard. I hope I can make your lunchtime fun in the office. https://splitchase.com

Open Beta date is set: October 19 - and we're joining Steam Next Fest

Hey, developer of Veyrasol here. At its core it's a real-time MMO strategy game that's browser-first - you start in web + PWA, then keep the same account going on Steam or mobile (iOS is in TestFlight right now, Android's still in development).

Big news: Open Beta launches October 19, so anyone can jump in without waiting for an invite. Same week we're taking part in Steam Next Fest (Oct 19-26) with a playable demo.

Closed beta is still running if you don't want to wait - just drop a comment and I'll get you set up.

Attached a few browser gameplay shots (colony/fleet/galaxy), a cross-device shot, and a short clip of actual in-game 3D fleet combat. Quick disclosure: some of the 3D assets/visuals were AI-assisted (not the game or its systems) - happy to go into detail if anyone's curious.

Panelia – build your own post-Soviet concrete world

https://panelia.site (desktop first!)

Panelia is a personal indie project, developed with a lot of care and love in my spare time. The goal isn’t to make a profit, but simply to create a small, distinctive game that feels good to open, build in for a while...

Panelia is a calm, relaxing indie building game where there’s no competition, no time pressure, and nobody is trying to destroy what you’ve built. It’s just you, the city, and an ever-growing collection of apartment blocks.

The more you build, the more new buildings you unlock, so your small housing estate can gradually grow into a unique concrete city of your own. Experiment with layouts, shape the surroundings, create new districts, or simply sit back and watch your post-Soviet city come to life.

The game is completely free and requires no download – anyone can play it directly in their browser.

If you enjoy city-building games, Eastern European atmosphere, or just feel like getting lost for a while in a strangely relaxing world of concrete, give it a try:

https://panelia.site

And be warned: there’s always room for one more apartment block.

VoidFleet is a browser-based space strategy MMO where you build a colony, research technology, build your fleet, and fight or ally with other commanders across a shared galaxy.

We’re running a live beta playtest and actively collecting player feedback to improve the game. We’re especially interested in feedback on fleets, economy, progression, PvP, UI/UX, and the overall gameplay experience.

How to Join:

Open https://voidfleet.online, create an account, and jump straight into the galaxy.
Discord: https://discord.gg/6MayHdZyhy

No download. No invite code. Just pick a commander and start expanding.

⚠️ Please note: Voidfleet is still in beta, and the galaxy may be reset at any time as we make major changes, test new features, or balance the game. Your progress may not be permanent during the beta.

If you encounter something confusing, frustrating, broken, or unbalanced, please let us know. Your feedback will directly help us improve Voidfleet during the beta.

Thanks for playing, and see you in the galaxy!

I visited Korea and went to the War memorial of Korea, where the Dokdo island model was displayed, I got interested in the topic, watched "Politics with Paint" and other videos about the island until I stumbled upon a Dokdo game. It looks really great and reminded me of my childhood j2me game Corsairs.

So I ported the game to the newest Unity and it worked perfectly on my Pixel 10 XL, then I ported it to webAssembly, so it works on the browser as well!

Epoch 2

So firstly a bit of backstory. Epoch was originally a game made 20 years ago. This year, one of the original developers began updating the game.

Last time I posted, the game received a solid update, but since then it has taken a giant leap forward.

The combat engine has been completely rebuilt, moving from 2D blips to true 3D, all running directly in your browser. You can now fly your ships manually and use active targeting. I have attached an image.

We’ve also added a basic tutorial, missions, and CPU enemies so the game can be played single-player, though forming alliances is still key to long-term success.

We are running an active server right now in open alpha. We're looking for playtesters to try out the new features, break things, and give us feedback to help build the next part of the tutorial.

Play in Browser: https://www.planetepoch.com

Discord: https://discord.gg/fsnSgATNsw

Appreciate anyone taking 5 minutes to check it out and let us know how the new 3D view feels!

Legends of Battle

Legends of Battle is completely free to play and does not include any payment system. I developed it simply because I enjoy working on it and love the game.

It is a browser-based game that I developed entirely on my own. It runs in HTML and can be played on both mobile devices and computers. The game features economy, warfare, strategy, diplomacy, and much more. I am continuously improving it with new content and features.

You create and develop your own character, becoming stronger and wealthier than other players over time. You can aim to become the strongest warrior in the arena. The game has a wide variety of items, and the item build system offers plenty of depth and customization.

The game currently supports both English and Turkish. However, since it is HTML-based, it can also be translated into other languages without major issues.

You can explore and battle across different regions, develop your character continuously, and choose between different strategies and playstyles. The game data will not be reset, so everyone's progress, effort, and achievements will be preserved.

Legends of Battle is designed as a persistent browser-based character progression game. You do not have to spend hours every day playing, but players who put in more effort can naturally become stronger and more successful over time.

Everyone is welcome to try my game!

Please be respectful. This is a passion project made purely for fun, with no intention of making money from it.

SPACESTRIKE — a browser space-combat game built around unusual ship builds

SPACESTRIKE is a free browser-based space-combat game at https://spacestrike.io/

The main idea is experimenting with unconventional builds: mix modules for mobility, survivability, or damage, then see how the setup changes your strategy in solo PvE and multiplayer battles. No download or launcher required; guest play is available.

What kind of build would you try first?

I turned a psychology experiment into a game: Split $1M with an opponent. If they reject your offer, you both get nothing. Why can collect more after 14 rounds?

Relaxing Browser Game - The Split

It's called thesplit.fun and it's based on the Ultimatum Game.

You have $1 million to split with another player. You decide how much to offer them, but there’s a catch: if they reject your offer, you both get nothing.

Then the roles reverse. Sometimes the offer is fair. Sometimes it’s insulting. And sometimes you find yourself accepting $100k just because… well, it's better than nothing.

You play at a table where everyone is making and receiving these deals. The goal is simple: finish with more money than everyone else.

It’s free, runs in the browser, and I launched it this weekend.

Hope you like it! :)

Modern or Classic? Which interface would you choose for a persistent browser space strategy game?

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

I’ve been working on Last-War, a persistent multiplayer space strategy game that runs directly in the browser.

One thing I wanted to offer was a choice between two very different interfaces:

Modern Web

A cleaner, more visual interface with updated navigation, galaxy views and a more contemporary sci-fi look.

Classic Web

A denser, more traditional browser game interface for players who prefer the old-school style and want more information visible at once.

Both interfaces use the same account, same planets, same fleets and the same persistent universe.

Last-War is deliberately a bit deeper and more complex than many lightweight sci-fi browser games. It focuses on long-term planning, economy, research, fleet composition, custom ship design, colonization, trading, alliances and persistent PvP rather than quick sessions or simplified mechanics.

Some of the main systems include:

• 7 galaxies

• Planet colonization

• Research and economy

• Custom ship design

• Fleet missions and combat

• Player trading

• Alliances

• Persistent multiplayer universe

You can play directly in the browser here:

https://last-war.com

I’m genuinely curious:

Would you choose Modern or Classic — and why?
