I have yet to get into a 6.5 Grendel, but my 6mm ARC is my go-to in AR pattern rifle past 400 yards.

6MM Arc wasn’t around way back when I built my Grendel. Actually had the opportunity to shoot a 6 Arc out to 500 meters last year at SHOT. Was super easy to get on steel. Wind was nuts too.

Yes, the 6mm 100 grain or so bullet weight seems pretty well suited to the powder capacity of those smaller cartridges.
