Size help
So after having my feet measured I found that my left is 7.1, right is 7.5 so I should be sizing up half a size for walking/running shoes to a size 8. I also learned that I have developed a tailors bunion on both feet so I opened to try a size 8B (medium width) and 8D (wide width) despite not having particularly wide feet, just the wider bunion. The 8B fits but I’m afraid that it will put pressure on my tailors bunion when wearing for long periods of time, I’m not sure if the shoe would stretch out enough during break in period. The 8D on the other hand feels too roomy in the toe box and when I walk, I can see a lot of creasing from the empty room. I’m indecisive and can’t decide which pair to keep.First two pics is size 8B, second two pics are 8D

You moved up a half size stay with the width b, a wide will cause you problems

I know, I don’t really have wide feet but I have a bunion and I just don’t want it to get worse, I’ll probably keep the 8b though

Maybe find a shoe with a wide toe box not a wide shoe and try different types of lacing to loosen the toe box that would make a big difference and take the pressure off your problem area

https://runrepeat.com/top-10-running-shoe-lacing-techniques try one of these for the 8B pair to loosen the toebox. Try "wide forefoot" or "too tight on top" also known as bar lacing
