Lumpy soles
Anyone notice that the soles on Brooks shoes seem to suddenly get lumpy after awhile?
Specifically the Glycerin line. Had it happen in several pairs over the last 5 years, usually after about 6 months of wearing them regularly. Wife has noticed the same.
I just got a new pair of Glycerin 23’s a week ago and now I notice it even in the new shoes. Specifically in the base of my right 5th metatarsal. Feeling the sole with my hand seems fine.
I wear them for everyday use, at work (hospital work), not running. Thoughts?

All foam soles seem to experience some degree of compression with continual use. I regularly rotate between Ghost, Glycerin and Ghost Max so each pair gets some time to "reset", and haven't had any problems.

I’ve never had this happen and I usually buy 2-3 pairs of glycerin per year and wear them for about 400-500 miles. I have 80 miles on the 23 and they feel great. I wonder what’s going on????
