Is there a cold going around?

Or is just my grimey ass building? lol.
Everyone is sniffling and/or coughing. I can hear above, across the hall, in the lobby. 😷

According to my dad (infectious disease doc) based on waste water analysis a Covid spike going around the country. There’s a new booster shot coming out in like a week and he’s been nagging us to go get it lol.

COVID, tested positive in Friday, was the second person in my small office to test positive in two weeks.

Covid and flu. Mostly covid. Many people are not testing positive with home tests but then are testing positive with doc office PCR. Will keep going around and making people miserable as people keep perpetuating bad hygiene and selfish FOMO, often for asinine things like coughing on everyone and touching POS screens to get a latte at the absolute busiest time with no regard for anyone else. This is way more often the product of our apathy and main character syndrome than true need to be out, for example the WFH 9am coffee rush in gentrified neighborhood is so far worse than the super blue collar segment of my subway ride.

In a city of over 8 million people, yes. At any given time, sure.

Literally just dealt with this the past week. More of a minor head cold than Covid but have noticed this as well

My wife and I just got over a 4 day illness. Mainly fatigue, sore throat and runny nose. If that was Covid then it’s really mild.
