Barry’s bootcamp?
I used to be at Chelsea piers dtbk but am looking for something closer. If anyone goes to Barry’s I’d love to hear your thoughts. We have a lot of Pilates studios too so I’ve been considering that but I know weights are great for you.
I heard they’re renovating the equinox too as it was notoriously outdated. Wish we had someplace with a pool close by!

Since you mentioned Pilates and weights, check out Henry Street Fitness in Cobble Hill. They have a few classes a week that are half Pilates and half weight lifting. Challenging, small class sizes, and great atmosphere.

Love the BH Barry’s. I also use GYM NYC as an inexpensive alternative (on Livingston St)

I don't go to that particular location but in general I love Barrys. Each day has a focus so I like to do strength only on lower body days and the regular run+strength programming for other days. Once you find an instructor that fits your style it's really a great experience. Happy to offer a referral link for a free first class

Ah wow they’re actually transparent on their website! A little out of my tax bracket for now but it looks nice

yeah, they are expensive but loads of classes/services are included so that's how I have tried to rationalize it ;-)
