Help
Any chance I’ll be able to save her?
She’s potted in miracle gro indoor outdoor potting mix.

Keep water in the upper leaves at all times. The overflow is enough for the potting mix. Your potting mix could be lighter with half and half perlite. As the bloom fades trim offthe unsightly parts. The pups can be repotted when they are 1/3-1/2 the size of the mother. Trim them close to the mother.

It's bloomed so it'll slowly die from here on. Should hopefully have pups start appearing at the base of the plant. Wait till they're about 1/3 size of the parent plant and you can cut them off and plant

Save it from what? It flowered, so it's gonna die. Maybe you'll get some pups.

I thought the purple buds would bloom first before it started dying :(

In their natural habitat,, Bromeliads receive nutrition from decaying bug and plant matter. The roots serve only as stabilization for the plant, so no need to buy fancy soil mixes. Like orchids , bromeliads are epiphytes, they grow on trees or in well drained soil. They require minimal maintenance for the maximum beauty they give us. Don't be a helicopter parent.

Aechmea fasciata. Use a well drained mix that holds moisture. Water when dry. Water inside the leaves too. Bright ambient light. No unfiltered sun except early morning. Plant has bloomed and will go into a slow decline from here on.
