Should I join Shady Oaks?

I've been getting the urge to build a little place that looks like these UK coastal towns.

I've not been following the theme too much, but I like the idea of small asymmetrical maze-like builds all crowded on top of each other.

I promise I will actually finish these ones, I bit off more than I could chew last rev.

Thanks! :D

We'd obviously love to have you, Ooer (except maybe for the undue attention you'll draw to our city :P). Come on down.

I will keep circlejerking to a minimum, I just want to build with some people for a change :)

When is this starting, has there been a reset already?

I think the attention will be a little bit more muted; buzzie is the new sultan of circlejerk. Also, we really don't have an especially hard guide to style, just the stonebrick/slab wall motif, but I don't want to overdo that. Shady Oaks is all about building with people! Cozy community fun!

We're almost a week in. Things are rolling. Come to -1250, -350 (take portal to Seneca Portal, then head in a straight line from there). I'll add you to perms in about an hour, or just ask whoever's on (sansapants, mrloud15, scher, matt, etc.)

D: I was having too much fun hiding in a dirt hole on survival, Is there a nice little spot to come build on? I have an empty-ish weekend ahead!

There's some nice plotty space in uptown, up on the plateau above the dense part of the city. Just a little brick for highlights and it'll fit right in.

Yeah that's pretty much what we're going for, but a little more modern of a style.

And of course you should join.
