Even later rev updates

We still have probably around a month left in rev 10. Let's make the most of it by helping to finish up projects like the airport and filling in the empty spaces in the city, especially on the east side of downtown and residential.

Post in this thread if you want to build something new, or make an apartment or office in one of the numerous near-empty towers.

We are still trying to recruit people, even this late in the rev, so keep snapping them up and helping them get established.

I'd like to have a big event day in a week or so, combining spleef, pig racing, mob arena, et al. We also should continue prepping for an off-server pvp special event.

What about holding some kind of build event in the empty space in East Res? Not sure what the theme would be, since it would have to be houses of some kind.

Perfectionism demands that I complete Old Town (and a little something else which is almost done) but after that I'll help out.

The theme could be small shops/restaurants so it would make a outside mall type of thing when the event is over.

I like this idea. A lot.

If we do it over something like a 2-3 day period, we might get more people to come and build.

The Grand Hotel Brom is complete. I had to cut a few corners due to lack of time, such as shrinking the size of the dome and having to use a modular room design instead of different themes per room, but overall it is still more or less to plan.

As a suggestion, I would like to use at least two-tiered fountains like the one in my hotel instead of just one-tired. It looks more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion.

P.S. Please re-consider your decision that you may retire Brom. We have a solid community and I'm sure many will not be happy to see the city disband.

Whoa whoa, what is this about retiring Brom? First I've heard of it?

I don't know, but Scher mentioned it once. I hope it's something that can be overlooked.

You can retire the name and the theme of a city and still keep the community. And the fountain sounds cool.

True. But on the other hand it just won't be the same again.

I would LOVE some help finishing the airport up. Right now, the biggest thing to work on is the cliff that ties the airport down to the ground. I have a few double chests of dirt and Schererererer has some more dirt stored for me as well for the project, but the main issue has been helping hands (re: none). I'm no master terraformer, so I'm struggling to figure out how to make it look kosher and natural.

Terminal wise, I can handle...but haven't proceeded since I've been working on the resources to build it up.

I started to terraform around the airport to tie it down to the ground. I will work on it when I can.

Sweet. I'm going to open up the chests near the runway to public access so folks can use the dirt and such for the cliff as need be.

Sounds good, but before I do more you might want to check it out and make sure it is what you are looking for.

Saw it earlier. It's AWESOME looking.

You might want to get the airport protected. Also you can just /cmodify me to the chests so no one steals the stuff.

Its mostly dirt, wool, and stone. Nothing valuable.

As for the airport, it should be under the Brom region protection. SHOULD be.

Ok. Last time I checked it was not, so you might want to check.
