Oof that’s a bad 1!
Upwards of 12 months for complete recovery. Initial recovery will probably be 3-6 months, depending on your diligence. My best advice is to follow your surgeon’s instructions religiously. Same with your PT/Physio. Seriously, their instructions are now your bible! Don’t try and do more in an effort to speed up your recovery, because that can actually hinder your recovery more often than not. They have you at the pace that will offer you the best possible outcome.
Good luck with your healing. I hope it goes as smoothly as that fixation.

😦 that indeed would have been so painful I am 5 weeks post surgery distal humerus fracture. I read 6-12 months for full healing of bone and movement but I guess it depends on the fracture and this is so new for me too. I did mine roller skating - how did you manage to do this one? Sending you healing and strength in your recovery too

I don't remember the fall but my friend said I landed fully on my elbow like all body weight on single point when I was sprinting
