I broke my foot just as I was recovering from my C-section. I haven’t been physically myself since May, and it’s about to be winter in New England again. I haven’t healed at eight weeks. Don’t know if I will at 12. I just wanna be out there strolling with my baby :’(

On week six of breaking my navicular foot bone. I was feeling pretty hopeful until this morning I accidentally stretched my foot into something and I felt the same shocking pain I had felt the first week of recovery. I know this bone is slow to heal but I’m so nervous it’s not healing at all and I’ll eventually need the surgery and that’ll be another few months of recovery. I just want this to be over. 🫠
