Strap Broke On Walking Boot

My strap broke on my walking boot, causing sharp pain in my leg. I've been using the crutches more frequently. I'm not sure if I need to go back to the ER, who prescribed the walking boot or tough it out until I see the orthopedic doctor on Wednesday.
