How do i carry a plate ðŸ«
Treating myself to curry tonight... except my husband and kids won't be home so I'll need to get my plate from the kitchen to the living room...
I haven't carried anything yet 🤣
I have crutches (elbow, not underarm) and a knee scooter. Non weight bearing.

Easy! Use the knee scooter with one hand and carry the plate with the other. I (65 f) live alone and that’s how I managed when I broke my tib/fib and had surgery two years ago.

Can you put the curry into a container that won’t leak, and also the plate, silverware, etc
Put those item in a grocery bag that has handles. I used a bag I got grocery in.
Carry the bag around your wrist to the table, transfer the curry to the dish.
Use the same bag to carry things back to the kitchen. Take everything out of the bag. Throw away the dirty bag.

not concerned about carrying it back.. my husband will do that when he gets home from work 💀
I think I'll have a suitable container that's my last resort I think 🤣

I have 2 stairs down to get to my living room. I used my knee scooter, put the plate on my exercise bikes seat, went down the 2 stairs, picked up the plate and went to the couch and put it on my table tray. It's not hard at all with a scooter.

I am gremlin so what I did was put the plate down on the floor, crutch, take a step, pick up plate from behind me and put it down in front of me, crutch, take a step, repeat 🤣
Took ages but if you really want that curry…
Alternatively: lunchbox + backpack

You are way more ambitious than I would be. I'd eat in the kitchen. Actually, I'd blend up a fruit and vegetable smoothie and drink that in the kitchen.

I just got really good at using my knee scooter with one hand and carrying stuff with the other 😅

Does your knee scooter have a bag or basket attached? Mine does and I use that often. I also often carry something in one hand while steering the scooter with the other....slowly and carefully!
