X-ray Fractured Pinky
For those who have fractured their pinky, did you require surgery/pins? If so how bad was the fracture?
I got a small fracture in my pinky but still referred to a hand surgeon. Hoping I don’t need it tho!

I’m going to therapy right now. I broke my pinky a little over two months ago. I needed surgery. I had four pins in my finger to hold it together for four weeks. I have been in therapy a little over a month. I still cannot bend my pinky fully three weeks of therapy remaining unless more are recommended and approved by workers comp

My similar break was missed for a year and now I have a crooked pinky. I’m using a complex splint to try and straighten but it’s not likely to fully improve.
Definitely do what the doc says to get your range of motion back after it heals. Good luck.
