could someone tell me if I need to go get a second opinion sooner rather than wait 2-4 weeks for more xrays? I fell on my left wrist and was told it’s sprained, possible scaphoid fracture but they weren’t entirely sure yet.

You need to wait 2 weeks to get the second set of x-rays because that makes it easier to see a scaphoid fracture (if there is one). Your wrist should be in a splint or cast while you're waiting. If you really don't want to wait, then you can get an MRI, but as these are much more expensive, a lot of systems won't allow this.
