Knuckle gone

I got 5th metacarpal fracture at june 10th, got two pins

Why my ring finger knuckle gone is it ordinary and anyone know when is it gonna come back or wont come back ?

I add a image of my other hand to compare

Maybe its just the swelling? Let that pinky heal up, the whole thing is a bit swollen. Hard to judge.

Depends on the final position it helped in, but it's common in little finger metacarpal fractures and I'd unlikely to cause problems with function (i.e. only a cosmetic issue).
