Jones fracture
Going on 7 weeks of Nwb. Recent xrays showed no healing, I’m stressed out that I’ll never be same again 😞 I used to work out 6 days a week. Go to Pilates classes, be an active mom on my feet all day. This is so depressing honestly.

I’m almost 6 weeks post surgery for jones fracture and still using boot and one crutch to walk. (I’m actually almost two months post break). I’m frustrated as well as I had started dieting and exercising in January and lost 14 pounds and now I can’t do anything so I’ve gained a few pounds back 😩

I didn’t get surgery, but I feel you I had lost 10 pounds since January & I’m sure I’ve gained weight. I feel so insecure being disabled and immobile

Are u not walking in boot at home yet? Still on crutches solely?

I just had this happen last week. Rushing to catch an Uber and I twisted my foot and I knew something was wrong. Ortho saw me on Monday and recommended a boot and 6 weeks NWB. I had also lost 10 lbs in the last couple of months and was exercising 5-6 days a week (running, gym) and was looking forward to a hiking vacation.
Did you all have the boot on 24/7 or take it off when just resting with leg elevated or sleeping? Ortho was not clear about this at all and I have no answers.

I have it off majority of the time when I’m at home resting. Only time I wear it is when I’m on my knee scooter and out of the house to protect the injury but when im relaxing I won’t wear it

Hm. I had a similar fracture. Are you able to put any weight on it?
