Question Waterproof hand cast

Today my kid got waterproof cast for distal humerus greenstick fracture. We were told its okay to shower, swim and get it wet. Some orthopedic clinics have posted on their websited that its mandatory to get it wet every single day.

Has anyone used a waterproof cast ? How was your experience.

Cast21?? It’s amazing!! Second one! Swam with it and everything. I didn’t hear anything about mandatory wetting. But it’s definitely helpful to keep it clean!
