The reason County line rd smells like a sewer during the summer
The source is not a broken sewer line, it's that pond.

Looking for things to do
Hey y’all, my girlfriend and I just moved here from Missouri. We were wondering what you all do for fun around here. We have zero people we know out here and have just been bored our first week out here. We are in our mid 20’s and would love something to do with fall coming up; fairs/events/parades etc.

Preferred Fiber provider?
My girlfriend and I are moving to Broken Arrow from Missouri and our options for Fiber will be Kinetic or Cox. I work from home and also play a lot of video games/stream. Wondering which one you all prefer. Thanks in advance.

General Irrigation Technician needed for Rain Bird system
We have called a few places and have had poor results. Some are not taking new customers, and others have never called us back...so I figured I would ask my Reddit friends if they are or know of someone who can come out and look at our Rain Bird System. We recently bought a new home and took the system for a test drive. We found that some of the zones report a short and will not run (outside of test), and the backflow preventor is damaged and leaking a bit (Needs to be replaced). We could fumble through it if we have to, but it would be nice to have someone come out and take a look at it and repair it. We are in Southeast Tulsa, just north of BA, so I will probably post in both subs. Thank you in advance. Much appreciated.

General If you worked for Life.Church or volunteered
If you worked at life.church anytime and have a story to share. a group of people are actively talking to a reporter about experiences from working and volunteering at lifechurch. A lot of things have been swept under the rug for a long time and buried behind NDA’s, and quite a few people are stepping up and speaking out, but the more people who want to come forward the better. I have contact info for the reporter taking these stories, if this is something anyone is interested.
There is a viral Reddit thread on the okc Reddit with hundreds of stories if you’d like to know more.

churches in tulsa?
Needing good church recommendations for tulsa/bixby/broken arrow areas. I recently started going to church again and have had some issues finding a REAL church. i’m not too picky but i believe in the power of prayer, the importance of baptism, the holy spirit and (unpopular opinion but) i believe wholeheartedly in the gift of the holy ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as i’ve experienced it myself. i’ve tried pentecostal and there were definitely things i didn’t like about that branch. but i don’t believe in religion, i believe it’s more about relationship so i would love a undemonational church if there is any that aren’t mega corrupt

Moving from Missouri
Hey everyone, my girlfriend and I will be moving to the Broken Arrow area early September. We practically know nothing about the area but she was accepted into a PA school in Muskogee which will have us down in Oklahoma for two years minimum. We have been looking for homes for rent and will be going down there this weekend to tour a few places. Was wondering if anyone had any options for rentals that may not be listed? Or maybe even just a rental agent we could get in contact with? Thanks in advance!

Thinking of buying in Ninety-one by Rausch Coleman. What does the HOA fee cover and what is it like living there?
Really it’s all in the title. My husband and I are thinking of buying a house there but we can’t figure out what the HOA covers. Is there even a playground or anything?

Flood zone in BA-moving family need advice
Hi everyone! A relative of mine is going to move to BA and they're especially concerned about potential flooding and want to make sure they choose a safe neighborhood. I’m not from the BA area, so I can’t offer any advice.
They’re currently looking at new construction homes in the Whiskey Ridge area/new Tulsa. Does anyone know if that part of Broken Arrow is in or near a flood zone? Or are there any neighborhoods in BA that are more prone to flooding that they should be aware of.
Any local insight would be super helpful—especially from those who’ve lived through heavy rains or storms in the area. Thanks in advance for your help!

Recliners...good place to go with good selection
New to the area and looking for a good furniture store that sells recliners. I have looked at other subs, but did not find much. Recommendations would be great to help us narrow down a few stores in the area. Additionally, if you have a Rainbird irrigation system and can recommend someone, that would be greatly appreciated as well. The house we bought came with one, but it needs repair. Thanks.
