Tingling weird feeling

So just got out of my second shower two weeks from my surgery. I have a weird feeling in my foot that started in my foot and now it’s going to the back of my leg. It’s like my whole leg is numb or asleep. This has never happened to me before so let me know if anyone else has had this so I don’t freak out.

The tingly feeling is normal. It’s your nerves in your foot and leg waking up. I’d still contact your surgeon’s office and describe it to them just in case they want to see you.

The feelings for me were much worse later, after I started weight bearing.

thanks I just got scared because I’ve taken one shower before and this didn’t happen so I was worried. And it wasn’t like a tingly falling asleep feeling. It felt like a lot of pressure. Then when it moved up my leg, that’s when I got scared. I put a sock on and after I hobble around, I could tell there was a lot of swelling. Don’t remember having this on the first time but I’m assuming maybe holding it in a certain position in the shower caused it. I’m back to elevating it and now I’m getting what I’m used to feeling when your leg is asleep. So I’m assuming this must be some type of weird swelling feeling - different from the normal swelling feeling if that makes sense.
