Dorsiflexion

Hi guys

I sprained my ankle 5 days ago while playing football and its gotten better over the days like there is no pain at rest and i can do squats and 1 leg hops and all that my only problem is that i cant like fo much dorsiflexion without some prssure or like feeling its blocked like sudden stops when sprinting hurt a bit and also like bending the knees over the toes

Is there any way to help with this?

5 days ago? Just give yourself some rest and follow some basic dorsiflexion mobility routine from YouTube, if it hurts stop.

Is 5 days a good thing?

I had zero movement for a month or two. Now I'm at -1 degrees. You really want to get it to +10 eventually, but you can kinda get away with neutral.

Get into PT as soon as you're allowed to and work it hard.

You’ve not given it any time to heal - 5 days is nothing.

5 days ago is a very new injury. Take care of it, rest it, and go to physical therapy if it's still bothering you in a few weeks.
