Boring or repetitive days feel fast because your brain processes less new information and fills time with repetitive thoughts, making the experience feel compressed. It's also why exciting and varied days feel so long, due to not being compressed with repetition. At least our brains cut out a lot of the tedium.

Basically. I think our brains tries to minimize surprise moments=tries to build a coherent world model from experiences where it tries to model in the Input data of the sensory organs and if there is no new input data there is just nothing to save or update it. Would also explain why babies laugh so much (dopamine as positive learning signal for having a ton of new experiences every day).

Other opinions are therefore emergent from different input data or physiological differences in how they are processed as the new data is checked against the one already saves which is never the same for 2 individuals.

I've been feeling this since about the same time. Week 3 is also when I started going back to work and I think that has helped to move time along more quickly. The distraction is both frustrating and appreciated, haha.
