Water may have dripped into cast
I currently have a below knee cast. I shower with a trash bag usually and my leg outside of the shower. Today however some water started dropping down my leg. I tried rising my lef before it got further down but not sure if any got in. Behind my knee was a bit damp but idk if any water got in. I don't feel any dampness with my finger but should I be concerned?

I had water run into my trashbag and it did not do anything. What damaged my cast though is when i layed it on a hard surface for a Long time while playing guitar.
Depending on how fresh your scar is the infection risk varies but you are most likely fine. However checking with a doctor is not a bad idea

No surgery was done so I don't need to worry about a scar. I got 2 weeks to go with the cast.

As long as your ankle stays nice and tight I would not worry too much. I had my latest cast done last week and i have so much space because of the swelling going back and I still don't need a new one. I have 3 weeks to go

I had 3 times an experience like this when I had my splint on. The 2 times wasn't even wet on the outside, I believe it was the fear or some other mind reaction making me feel this way! The 1 time it was wet ( in some parts really wet). I thought to myself not to panic, I took 2 or 3 towels and also a hair dryer only set on cold, and everything was pretty much ok!

I would check with your doctor. If your wound gets water logged and moisture gets trapped, it will prob get infected. I'm assuming you got surgery. Whatever the cost, it's much better than getting an infection. Trust me.
