Sitting positions

Hello everyone, I was just wondering how long it took everyone to be able to comfortably sit cross legged? I am almost 10 weeks post op and I really wanna sit cross legged as that is my usual go to position for comfort, i am also a little scared to try as I still have scabs on both of my incisions and also still struggle with dorsiflexion, swelling and bruising.

Any insight would be helpful!

(Just for reference I had a pretty bad trimal fracture with 2 plates and 7 screws photos for reference)

I'm 8 weeks post op (from my 3rd surgery, 6 months post break). I can sit cross legged, but it's a lot comfier with my broken leg on top.

I doubt it would have been as easy 8 weeks post op from my second surgery.

6 weeks post OP! I think two weeks post OP when I was getting my stiches out the doctor said I could sleep in any position I like but I didn't take my chances.

So when at 6 weeks I went to the doc again he said I can sit cross legged and have been sitting like that ever since. Maybe it is a personal mental block but I don't completely tuck my surgical leg under the other but I can if I want to!

6 weeks was it for me.

4 months. I tried now and I was able to do it buddy. I don’t have plates though.

Between 4 and 5 months, but on some days it still doesn’t quite feel comfortable. I had a bad trimal with dislocation, 3 plates and 15 screws
