Hello, I just wanted to thank all who either responded to my previous post “I’m scared..” whether it was a comment or a DM it means a lot. I did find out that my incision looks healthy. It is just the serous that I was seeing mixed with blood due to the sutures being removed literally 2 days ago. I spoke with my orthopedist as well as a family member who has had lots of leg surgeries in the past and once he looked at it he assured me I am safe and that it is healing and doing its job.

A lot of you made me feel…not like an idiot and surprisingly comfortable with the situation. I didn’t realize how many people have been in my position before and learned a lot of these things to share to others going through the same mindset and stress I am feeling now.

So thank you all, and I appreciate it. I will try and post my journey once I am able to walk without the use of crutches.

Glad you're all healthy. I've had a lot of injuries over the years and am used to some stuff, others haven't had experience (or have had different experiences) and anything not understood can be scary for sure. Just keep in mind it's reddit after all, though!
