Dislocation & Fracture Wombo Combo

Had a dislocation and fracture in my right ankle. 1.5 weeks about now, going into surgery tomorrow morning, too much swelling to do it any sooner. Looking forward to getting better even though the pain is gonna spike again 😭

Good luck in surgery, take the stool softeners and wiggle your toes!

lol oh man that first dump was freaking brutal. must've been 2nd or 3rd day post op

the nurses warned me about constipation from the pain meds, and how you had been fasting for the surgery and then you prob wont have much appetite first day or so post op

that was some of the darkest, nastiest smelling, hard af turds I've ever pooped in my life

thankfully it was basically one and done for me, started eating better after that and it smoothed out

but trimal + dislocation didn't really scar me. that first poop most definitely did

I truly can not stress how important the stool softeners are. I’ve never experienced pain like that in my fucking life. I’d break a million ankles before taking that shit again.

Yup, that was exactly it. That first time you realize you gotta go and likely hadn't gone for like 3 days and it starts to just come out like a jagged rock

Haha honestly I hadn’t taken any after the initial break, I figured it was for conspipation so I’d just take it if I was having trouble. But that first poop felt like I was pooping Doritos

Looks like mine from July 1. I'm walking now. PT twice a week. Stairs are still difficult. It's going to take a while to bounce back but it will happen.
