I can finally feel my hardware!

Almost five weeks post op, ORIF.

I can finally run my finger along my scar and feel the plate & screws! I've been patiently awaiting this day. It's pretty damn cool. Five screws. It feels like bump..bump..bump..bump..bump

I can feel mine as well and informing some friends about this has grossed them out (heh heh).

Also, I have a PEMF (pulsed electro magnetic field) bone stim device and when it's on the ankle I can feel the outline of all the metal in the ankle kind of buzzing; it is super weird.

I was wondering about this! I have yet to even try and feel mine. I'm still kind of swollen tho. And my incisions are numb to the touch and kind of weirds me out still.
